For centuries, humans have found themselves living in “circles” of: friends, family, and community. While these “circles” may be considered a metaphor; some truth resonates with the function of how people interact around their given communities.
In some way, shape, or form, many lives find themselves in diversities of community. All persons here possess unique personalities and distinctiveness and have many talents and skills that help them flourish in life. These varied beings go about creating an order of life within their circle. There will be common needs such as: shelter, water, food, and like-minded beings (to exchange amenities with.) Typically, there is a communally acknowledged structure of ethics and regulations in the society that supports order and harmony. Communities, when fully efficient, bear a resemblance to a complex system of gears– smoothly interrelating and moving about fluidly.
What makes a “good” community?
The act of offering service within a community is a wide-ranging gathering of definitions, but it is in essence behaving altruistic by giving one’s time and effort to another in need. Carrying out acts of kindness for others permits persons a chance to share more respect, love, and trust within their communities. Not only are acts of service an outward reflection to others, but they also allow beings to explore a healthier means of life quality. So, what might acts of service look like?
• Acting in an organized, dutiful and safe code of principles
• Participating in community assemblies
• Contributing assistance to individuals in need
• Producing or refurbishing things
• Sharing knowledge with peers
Communal Interactions
Many humans still interact in their local communities. Whether it be at the supermarket acquiring household goods, driving the bus around the city, or joining a work detail for the first time— it is important to realize that all incidences are dynamic. There are outwardly endless connections with life. Nonetheless, all persons are in diverse phases of experience and in varying amounts of passed time. This has created the system of education and knowledge that is frequently shared with others by interaction
A common need many beings share, is the want to be accepted and important within a group. Connection and socialization are one of the best methods to interact in given cultures. Being able to communicate clearly offers the benefit of further self-discovery, which in turn, guides many to find their strongest and weakest personal character traits and talents.
There is a relevant amount of requirement upon each other’s services within communities. Trusting upon each individuals’ assets and short-comings allows a communal group to grow in unity. It is important to remember— in order to give, one must receive: in order to receive, one must give.
Communal living will endure for countless periods of life;
It is imperative to take time and recognize the roles of each member within a given society.
