— Tim Berners-Lee
the birth of the internet..
In 1989, a code of programming was written by Tim Berners-Lee.
His program design would allow computers to connect with each other on the same network and share information with one another. Two years later, this software was released for scientists and colleges to “test”. Soon after, the program writing was released to the general public and the worldwide web was born. 1994 was labeled "The Year of the Web"; I was born a year prior.
Where I grew up, there wasn't much around but farm plots, trees, and swamps. I got to enjoy Nature as she was– mostly devoid of human influence. It was a peaceful way of living; it was captivating to me. When I was a little lad, I can recall hearing those intolerable dial-up tones ringing through the entire house. I remember the AOL craze in the early 2000's, and by the time myspace and Facebook started— I was in middle school learning how to socialize with friends and buying music on iTunes. Before long I got a smart phone; making iTunes old news.
Moving Forward >>——›››
Within thirty years, the worldwide web has connected to a remarkable amount of daily relations, including humans. As I have grown up, there has always been the presence of internet and the many things it has been capable of connecting with. It is now accessible to instantaneously stream music and television to enjoy whenever it’s desirable. Nearly any question may be asked on search engines and endless expanses of answers come to. Advertising and marketing have also expanded and diversified in incredible ways. And of course, there are all of the favorite social media platforms.
There is a credibly irrefutable trust today between internet connections and human interactions. I am elated to witness the further progressions of this technology. I am not certain that the deepest depths of the cyberspace’s capacity have yet been grasped. It can sometimes get overwhelming thinking about all of the possibilities this great connection can offer the future. The advent of the internet was critical to human advancement.
Humankind is in the middle of a revolution– and connected more than ever in the midst. The onward forecast of the internet depends upon unique innovations and reworkings.
How will you connect with life in the world of tomorrow?
